With a combined thirty years of television, documentary, and digital production experience, Dave Keystone and Dylan Shoychet have created a conversational interview process that makes the entire experience simple and seamless. For many of the interviewees, this is the first time they will sit down on camera and share their life story – this can be intimidating. As a professional television host and producer, Dave puts subjects at ease with his kind, conscientious nature, while Dylan’s years of documenting people’s stories comes with a curious inquisitive kindness that calms people’s nerves and allows them to be their true authentic selves.
Dave Keystone
Founding Partner
Dave Keystone is an award winning television host, producer, writer, and storyteller. Best known as the host and co-creator of the award winning CBC Kids series Small Talk where he seeks life advice from kids, for which he won the 2018 Canadian Screen Award for Best Host, nominated again in 2019.
Dave is also the host and co-creator of the successful digital program Who We Are; an interview series designed to inspire social consciousness through candid conversations, for which he won the 2018 International Academy of Web Television Awards in Los Angeles, for Best Host, and Best Pre-Recorded Hosted Series.
Dave’s interest in storytelling and helping people share their experiences inspired him to team up with Dylan in early 2017, to launch Keepsake Video Inc.
Dylan Shoychet
Founding Partner
Dylan is a Toronto based producer and has over 15 years of video and corporate event production experience. He is the co-founder and executive producer of Shoy Pictures Inc., a media company specializing in film production.
In 2013, Dylan graduated from Western University with a degree specializing in History, after-which he received his post-graduate degree in TV Writing and Producing from Humber College. He is also certified in comedy writing and improv from the Second City Training Centre in Toronto.
Dylan’s love of history and passion for working with people of all ages and cultures has driven him to partner up with long-time friend Dave Keystone to launch Keepsake Video Inc. in 2017.
